The initiative once again highlights emerging talent in graphic design, as well as the commitment of educational institutions and teaching staff to excellence in education.
“Sutura”, by IED Barcelona Graphic Design alumnus Carmina Goran, is one of the 24 finalist projects in the 9th edition of the gaudeamusPROJECTA Awards, which recognise the highest-rated final degree projects from the last academic year.
Supervised by Mery Glez, Head of School of Visual Arts, the project develops a multimedia installation exploring unconscious experiences, memories and emotions from a cultural perspective, creating an accessible visual map that connects neuroscience, folklore and identity.
The awards ceremony will take place on 19 June at Palau Robert (Barcelona), where the selected projects will be presented to the public.
