Pearls, a symbol of purity, elegance, immortality and honesty, inspire “Alma de nácar” [“Mother of Pearl Soul”]. A collection proposal for Cristina Tamborero with clean lines and cuts, with Coco Chanel as the theme, paying great importance to the details on the sleeves and buttons.
“Ecos del tiempo” [“Echoes of time”] focuses its attention on the body, identified throughout history as the vessel of the soul. The garments reflect the idea of evolution, change, and the degradation of the forms of nature over time through various fabrics. Tulle, for example, reflects fluffiness, fluidity and delicacy, in contrast to corsets and volumes that provide structure and rigidity.
