In a global context where extreme weather anomalies and urban environmental stress systematically disrupt human homeostasis, “ATMOS” is a proposal set within Barcelona’s modernist landmark Casa Thomas that seeks to transform retail spaces into sanctuaries for the inalienable right to clean air, thermal comfort, and biological sovereignty.
To achieve this, the student designs a reversible physical framework supporting a large-scale, dry-assembly advanced biotechnological system.
A work of regenerative architecture conceived to address one of humanity's most primitive needs: designing a refuge that not only protects the body, but also teaches us, once again, how to feel the climate of the future.
