Immersive installation to counteract Doom-Scrolling

"Fragmented Harmony" is an immersive installation that seeks to encourage critical thinking about our social media consumption by countering the negative consequences of doom-scrolling.

The proposal, intended as a detox space, begins with a stark representation of the phenomenon in the form of a multisensory display of endless clips that invites participants to immerse themselves in the experience. It continues with a performance where the user becomes part of this voracious consumption, which takes the form of their silhouette. Finally, the installation moves into a relaxing area free of digital devices and connections, complete with an app blocker, where the user can deeply reflect on how everything that happened resonates with them.
