A digital platform that highlights the critical need for specialised solutions connecting Brazilian seafarers with healthcare professionals

Marbem is a digital platform that connects Brazilian seafarers with healthcare professionals specialising in the maritime sector to empower them to adopt a healthier routine. The project thus seeks to reduce the risk of chronic diseases (whether physical or mental) through prevention.

The platform’s holistic approach integrates personalised support, usability, and accessibility, taking into account the technological and environmental constraints of life at sea.

Through its empathetic and innovative design, Marbem highlights the transformative potential of technology to promote positive health outcomes, setting a precedent for global maritime health initiatives.
