A modular binder featuring playful activities designed to personalise learning methods by recognising the unique nature of each mind

The current environment presents a mismatch between people’s innate cognitive needs and standardised systems of learning and design. As social trends increasingly prioritise homogenisation, each individual’s unique cognitive architecture becomes less relevant. To counteract this imbalance, the student has designed a tool aimed at personalising learning methods by recognising the unique nature of each mind.

The resulting prototype consists of a modular binder that uses playful activities to reconnect with early cognitive patterns. The activities are divided into Memory and Analysis, as part of a comprehensive process that challenges users to navigate information through their own intuition. By integrating design principles such as layout filtering and symbolic mapping, the prototype functions as a physical intervention. By enabling users to map their neural pathways, it creates a personalised and sustainable system that fosters self-awareness and optimises knowledge acquisition.
