Through styling and creative direction, the student embarks upon a profound journey of healing inherited emotional baggage. Each the projects comprising her final degree work reflects a different stage of this process: from darkness to light, from breakdown to reconstruction. Beautiful images that speak to those who have been reborn after pain.
The looks are constructed and explored through layering, contrasts, textures and symbolism. From structured blazers and classic garments to transparencies and light fabrics such as tulle and organza, aiming to symbolise the duality between structure and freedom. Every element, from a key to a glove, holds a meaning within this narrative of transformation.
The student selects garments from emerging designers and well-known brands to construct a visual language that transcends trends. She is interested in capturing the evolution of identity through dressing, exploring how fashion can be an act of memory, empowerment and healing.
The selection of models is also essential, seeking presence, emotion and truth, with faces that tell a story of their own.
‘Una Vez y Más’ is a visual letter, a tribute to who we once were and who we can still become.
