This Introduction to Interior Styling and Decoration is a great way to take your first steps in this discipline,

which, despite the fact we come into contact with decorated spaces and interior styling every day, requires specific know-how and a meticulous study of the techniques involved if you want to master the trade.

Learn the key concepts of creating harmonious space: combining textures and materials, colour relationships, and the latest trends.

In this intensive course you’ll learn to create, develop and go into every detail of a home space project, from colour management to materials, furniture and lighting, and the spatial composition of the rooms.

This Introduction to Interior Styling and Decoration shows you exactly what’s involved in the various areas of forecasting: the creative process, the tools used to develop a project, how to use materials and understand trends.

 

You’ll learn about each of these fields from professional interior stylists and designers in theoretical sessions and practical exercises on each specific subject. The syllabus includes visits to showrooms and renowned retailers in the sector.

 

These practice-based exercises and on-location visits give you first-hand experience of the professional sector, one of the essential goals of the course.

 

As it’s an introduction, this course is for people interested in taking their first steps in the world of decoration and styling, for enthusiasts who want more in-depth knowledge of interior spaces, aspiring professional interior designers and stylists.

 

A CV and cover letter are required for enrolment in the course. The school will evaluate each case on its merits if some of the admission requirements are not met, and may

call the applicant for a personal interview.
