Digital technologies and the socio-cultural transformations of recent decades have revolutionised fashion and the way it communicates, sells and positions products, making it increasingly essential to adopt a vision that combines creativity, strategy and social responsibility.
On the Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Marketing and Communication, you will learn how to develop marketing and communication strategies to enhance brands and products in a sustainable and innovative way, using technological tools and interpreting market scenarios with an awareness of the social and environmental implications linked to the fashion system.
Throughout the three-year programme, you will learn how the entire process of defining a strategy and marketing plan in the fashion sector works: from market analysis to the strategic positioning of brands and products, from evaluating raw materials and production processes to managing online and offline sales, through to building a brand identity and creating an effective advertising campaign using innovative communication models, with a strong focus on digital tools and emerging technologies.
You will explore digital marketing and communication techniques for fashion, tailored to different markets and retail dynamics, from emerging trends such as personalisation to the shopping experience across digital and physical spaces; you will acquire skills in business planning, budgeting and brand analysis.
These technical and specialised skills are combined with insights into art history, fashion history and visual culture, as well as an in-depth understanding of the cultural, social and economic dynamics underpinning the fashion system, with particular attention to values of inclusivity and sustainability, now essential for positioning in a global market.
During the course, you will have the opportunity to engage with different realities within the fashion system, from major groups to independent and emerging brands, developing projects in collaboration with brands and agencies and working alongside a faculty of leading industry professionals. This will allow you to deepen your knowledge of the many areas connected to marketing and communication in fashion, such as product management, merchandising, fashion buying and retail, digital and content creation, and fashion brand management.
