Emerging technologies play an increasingly crucial role in shaping our experiences, transforming the way we communicate and our relationship with the world.
The Bachelor of Arts in Interactive Media Design combines technological innovation, creativity and interdisciplinarity, offering a transformative approach to digital design aimed at developing innovative projects within the landscape of new media.
Over the three-year programme, you will learn to use emerging technologies by combining them with a design vision and an open mindset towards innovation, experimenting with their application across multiple fields: from computer graphics to coding and programming for web, apps and games, from virtual and augmented reality to generative artificial intelligence. You will have access to cutting-edge labs and technologies both for your coursework and for your personal projects.
Through a methodology that intertwines design, technology and experimentation, you will learn how to develop a project in all its stages, from concept to realisation; you will work in interdisciplinary teams with students from other courses, bringing to life digital storytelling projects, developing interactive systems and exploring cross-media and transmedia design.
You will have the opportunity to design in close contact with the professional world, thanks to collaborations with external partners and dialogue with a faculty of industry professionals, who will guide you in discovering the many areas of application for Media Design within the creative industries: digital entertainment, performance and interactive installations, game design, creative coding, social media and digital advertising.
