ADCI Awards 2019, IED trionfa con 2 ori

Awards on the closing night of IF! Italians Festival: IED creativity at the top, ranking first Italian school in the ADCI ranking and 12th out of 64 award-winning institutions and schools this year.

A record-breaking year is coming to a close for IED Communication students and the whole School staff. In addition to all the many awards achieved in recent months domestically and internationally, IED also won the ADCI AWARDS, the Italian Art Directors Club's award for creativity and quality in advertising communication - top prize in Italy - with no less than 8 short-listed projects within the Student Category (out of a total of 12), including 6 for IED Milano and 2 for IED Roma.

That’s where the 2 GOLDS (First Prize) come from, along with the SILVER (Second Prize) and the BRONZE (Third Prize), all awarded on the closing night of IF! At the Italians Festival event on 9th November, IED was voted the 1st Italian school in the ADCI ranking and ranked 12th out of 64 award-winning institutions and schools this year. The prize-winning projects come from multidisciplinary teams of students from the Undergraduate Programme in Communication Design, specialising in Art Direction and Copywriting as well as Content Design

On the podium, with GOLD, came two projects from IED Milano:

The Resurrected menu - for Burger King by Emma Bertinotti, Giorgia Trentani, Chiara Mandaradoni (from the ‘Art Director’ specialist track) and Alessandro Gemignani, Giacomo Croxatto (Copywriter track), led by lecturers Alessandro Candito and Matteo Grandese

SILVER went to The Binge Walking - for NETFLIX, by Art directors Emma Bertinotti, Giorgia Trentani, Chiara Mandaradoni and Copywriters Alessandro Gemignani, Giacomo Croxatto, led by lecturers Alessandro Candito and Matteo Grandese

The BRONZE won by IED Roma is the work of students Tommaso Sardara and Mauro Conte, with their project 'Made in Italy that you don't know' developed for Caritas under the supervision of lecturer Massimiliano Traschitti.
