The Master in Creative Direction at IED Milano meets the Italian Ecobio cosmetics brand

The students of the Master in Creative Direction at IED Milano met with OMIA, a leading Italian brand in the field of natural and sustainable cosmetics, for the presentation of their thesis brief.

OMIA was established in 2009 from the experience of MGA, a company founded in 1997 and specialized in research and development in the natural sector, with its production site located in Cisterna di Latina. Since its inception, OMIA has stood out for its concrete commitment to creating certified natural cosmetic products, launching in 2012 the first Ecobio Cosmetics line in the mass market channel.

At the heart of OMIA’s philosophy lies a deep connection with nature and the Mediterranean territory, which inspires the brand in selecting high-quality organic ingredients, while respecting biodiversity and supporting local supply chains. A significant example is the Aloe Vera line from Salento, launched in 2021: a collection enriched with the extraordinary moisturizing properties of aloe gel, extracted using a cold process to preserve its active ingredients.

For the students, it was a unique opportunity to engage with a company that blends research, sustainability, and meaningful storytelling.
