The print magazine celebrates the ADG Laus Night and pays tribute to contemporary design

IED has collaborated with OCIMAG and ADG-FAD as a design partner on the print edition of the OCIMAG X LAUS 2025 special issue, commemorating the ADG Laus Night.

A team comprising teachers, students, alumni and staff from the Istituto Europeo di Design worked alongside the magazine’s editorial team to design the publication’s content, participating in the various stages of creating this ambitious project that pays tribute to contemporary design.

The magazine, whose content was unveiled on 19 June at the ADG Laus Awards Gala, consists of a collection of essays, analytical articles and interviews with leading professionals in the creative industries. Its pages feature personalities ranging from Marta Coca, Director of 080 Barcelona Fashion, to Pep Salazar, Director of the OFFF Festival, accompanied by a promising showcase of design projects from IED’s new generation of emerging talent.

The issue includes a fashion editorial featuring a selection of looks from Fashioners of the World 2024, as well as the winning entries of the 2024 Francesco Morelli Grant. It also comprises a dedicated space for innovative visual and audio proposals that map the current design scene and anticipate future trends. The cover is scannable, and an augmented reality experience that reinterprets the magazine’s aesthetic in a digital format can be activated through the Aero and TikTok apps. Further, the soundtrack, specially created for this issue by students, can be listened to via a QR code, generating an immersive audio journey that accompanies the reader beyond the pages.
