IED Madrid Alumni Talent at OMODA Madrid es Moda 2026

OMODA Madrid es Moda 2026 has once again brought together some of the most prominent names in Spanish fashion design in the capital. Among them are IED Madrid alumni Luis Berrendero and Carlota Barrera, who have been part of this edition’s programme.

Luis Berrendero, an alumni of the IED Madrid Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, presented his new occasionwear collection, La Prima Volta, through a presentation at his Madrid space. Meanwhile, Carlota Barrera, also an alumni of the school, took part with an Open Day at her brand’s space, giving the public an insight into her creative universe and her distinctive approach to contemporary tailoring. 

Their participation adds to IED Madrid’s presence in the OMODA Madrid es Moda programme, which has also included Fashion Show 2026, where 12 Fashion Design students presented their proposals proposals to industry professionals and guests. 

In addition, IED Madrid’s Gran Vía campus hosted an event with Roberto Verino as part of the´Los Jueves de la Moda´ programme, a series of talks organised by the Spanish Fashion Academy and Modaes. 

In this way, IED Madrid strengthens its presence at one of the capital’s leading events for Spanish fashion design, highlighting both the talent of its students and the careers of its alumni.
