Milan’s September Fashion Week is one of the city’s most iconic stages, and this year IED Milano will once again be in the spotlight.
Students from the Master in Fashion Design Haute Couture will present their collections on the catwalk during Milano Fashion & Jewels, marking an important debut for the new generation of designers.
At Linea Pelle (Pavilion 5P, Stand S28-S30), IED will host a dedicated space featuring:
A live performance by alumna and illustrator Margherita Caspani.
The workshop “Biomaterials and Leather – A Dialogue Between Innovation and Tradition”, curated by alumna and faculty member Laura Civetti. The project brings traditional leather into dialogue with pioneering biomaterials such as biofilm, mycelium, and natural polymers, experimenting with weaving and manual 3D printing techniques to craft multimaterial fabrics and new tactile surfaces.
At the Tissot boutique in Corso Vittorio Emanuele, five students from the BA in Illustration and Animation will unveil their projects developed for the contest “Tissot – Creative Lab Time of Heroes”.
IED Milano will welcome prospective students of its Undergraduate Programs for a day of hands-on experiential activities, offering them the chance to immerse themselves in the creative process.
The Fashion Design Graduates of IED Milano, guided by Umberto Sannino and artist Scarlett Rouge, will present UNSTAGE, a groundbreaking fashion performance broadcast live on Instagram via @ied_milano and @vogueitalia.
IED Milano will join Milano Moda Graduate, presenting the collection of Giacomo Sica, showcased alongside the work of graduates from Italy’s leading fashion schools and academies.
