Discover your path to a career in broadcasting with the OBS Training Program

IED Milano will host the Broadcast Training Program (BTP), a unique educational opportunity offered by OBS, the broadcasting division of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Since 1984, the program has trained over 14,000 students, providing hands-on experience in broadcasting during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Thanks to the Broadcast Training Program, selected students will have the opportunity to work in paid roles alongside industry professionals, immersing themselves in a multicultural environment with cutting-edge technology.

The available training areas include:

  • Live Production: Assisting production teams at competition venues.

  • Broadcast Support: Providing logistical support to broadcasters and managing interviews.

  • Content Production: Creating content to tell the story of the Games.

  • Video Logging: Managing the Olympic television archive.

  • Commentary: Supporting commentators and managing equipment.

  • Games Services: Providing logistical support for OBS staff.

The Broadcast Training Program is an unmissable opportunity that will allow the selected participants to work at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.
