IED - Istituto Europeo di Design is partner of the 61st edition of Lisbon Fashion Week sponsoring the young designer contest “Sangue Novo” and taking part in the Fast Talks panel to discuss the future of fashion.

The lights are almost lit on the fall edition of the Lisbon Fashion Week “ModaLisboa”, which will take place from October 5th until 8th at Pátio da Galé.  

After starting a successful partnership on occasion of the 60th edition, IED will be a sponsor of the event within the scope of discussing and nurturing the future of fashion design. 

 
SANGUE NOVO is the young designer competition that will reward the winner with a series of prizes including a 100% scholarship to the master in Fashion Brand Management held in November 2024 at IED Firenze.  

On October 6th at 6 PM the 10 semi-finalists will present their collections to the jury, among which there will be Olivia Spinelli, Director of the Fashion Department at IED Milano. After the presentation, there will be the announcement stating the 5 finalists who, after a series of mentoring sessions with the jurors in the months to come, will present the evolution of their collection in the Spring edition of ModaLisboa, during which the winner will be selected.  

In addition to Sangue Novo, the involvment of IED in the fashion week will also see Alberto Caselli Manzini, Course Coordinator of the Master program in Fashion Trend Forecasting at IED Firenze, taking part in the FAST TALKS, a panel discussion where international experts  will address the contemporary challenges of the fashion industry.

A VJ set begins at 7:00 p.m.
