Bringing together artisanal know-how and creative experimentation, IED Roma will take part in the 2025 edition of Luxury Monte-Carlo | The Unique Show, the exclusive traveling exhibition dedicated to high jewelry
The opening act of this three-part event will feature a prestigious collaboration between The Unique Show, IED Roma and the Fondazione The Place of Wonders. On June 20 and 21, the second floor of the Le Méridien Beach Plaza Hotel will host an immersive experience in the world of jewelry creation, blending gesture, material and vision.
Taking the spotlight in the jewelry design workshops will be Michela Magnani and Lavinia Dibilio, students from IED Roma’s Jewelry Design program, selected to represent the institute on this special occasion. The two young creatives will take part in a series of open workshops, drawing live in front of the public and sharing the stages of the design process through sketches and illustrations that explore the contemporary language of jewelry.
A rare opportunity to witness the birth of an idea and its transformation into form, in a continuous dialogue between inspiration and technique. A gesture becomes a narrative, turning the blank page into a stage.
Alongside them, thanks to the collaboration with the Fondazione The Place of Wonders, master goldsmith Giò Carbone - founder of the historic Florentine school LAO - will lead a live demonstration together with two young talents selected through scholarships, transforming precious metals and stones into unique creations.
The program of Luxury Monte-Carlo | The Unique Show will begin on June 19 with the Charity Night Gala, a black-tie fundraising dinner in support of Les Enfants de Frankie, a Monaco-based organization committed to helping children in need or facing illness. The evening will feature a performance by the ISM Voices choir, a musical reference point in the Principality.
The event will conclude on Saturday, June 21, with an exclusive fashion show by Marina Rinaldi, a long-standing symbol of inclusive fashion. The runway will feature a curated selection from the brand’s most iconic collections, including capsules by Teresa Maccapani and George Chakra. The models will showcase the creations wearing high jewelry pieces from international exhibitors participating in the event.
