The ‘Todas Musas’ project received recognition due to its high level of detail and precision

At a gala held on 15 October in Miami, the United States, IED Barcelona alumnus Lia Ferreiro won the Adobe Max 2024 Design Creativity Award in the Digital Design category. Her work 'Todas Musas', a directory of Latin American artists from diverse cultural, social and economic backgrounds aiming to address the gender gap within the creative industries, earned the award thanks to its embodiment of nostalgia, unity, legitimacy and boldness, as a starting point for the visual reference.

The project, which was previously presented at OFFF Barcelona 2024 and has appeared in leading publications such as Gráffica and Vein Magazine, has received recognition due to its high level of detail and precision. Ferreiro used the following design elements and methods in its creation:

Conceptualisation: The vision was clearly defined, focusing on empowering Latin American women in the creative industries. This mission guided every design decision.

Brand Identity: The visual identity drew on nostalgic elements like “The Yellow Pages” directory, combining boldness with a sense of legitimacy and unity, ensuring coherence across platforms.

Web and Editorial Design: Both digital and print mediums were developed to create a seamless experience for users.

Motion Graphics: Animated elements were meticulously crafted to capture attention and maintain consistency with the overall brand identity.

The Adobe Max 2024 Design Creativity Awards celebrate those who are pushing the boundaries of creativity and setting new standards with groundbreaking and impactful work across six categories: Digital Design, Experimental, Use of Colour, Animation, Mixed Media and Storytelling.

Congratulations, Lia!
