IED supported Lighting Day Conference organized by AT Architect hosted in Design Institute

Thanks to the invitation from AT Architect, Lorenzo Bruscaglioni, a highly respected lighting designer, founder of Luminae, member of AILD, and professor at IED Milano, traveled to Tbilisi, Georgia, to participate in the Lighting Day Conference titled “Light as a Sustainable Source of Living,” alongside other international speakers and local design professionals hosted by Design Institute.

The Ambassador of Greece to Georgia, H.E. Maria Theodorou, and Ms. Fabiola Albanese, Deputy Head of the Italian Embassy, delivered opening remarks and expressed their wish to support creative initiatives in Georgia.

Ana Tavartkiladze, co-founder of AT Architect and alumna of the Specialization Course in Lighting Design Experience at IED Milan, where Professor Bruscaglioni teaches, spoke about the role lighting plays in biological rhythms, work capacity, and mental health.

Lorenzo Bruscaglioni’s topic was "Lighting Design Consultancy: The Key to a Successful Project."
His lecture provided valuable insights into sustainable lighting design and its impact on modern living.
Professor Bruscaglioni shared his experience and detailed every step of the design process while working on projects such as the Italian Pavilion in Dubai, and various luxury retail spaces. He emphasized the importance of involving a lighting designer early in architectural or interior projects to highlight the right details with a well-planned lighting design that enhances both the architecture and overall design of the project.
