The exhibition included everything from vibrant audiovisual animations to immersive 3D environments, experimentation with typography, documentary photography and illustration, among other creations

The Portfolio Review Day dedicated to Visual Arts celebrated its second edition in the Open Space of IED Barcelona, showcasing the most outstanding works created by final year Graphic Design and Motion Graphics and Video students during their years of training at the School.

The exhibition included everything from vibrant audiovisual animations to immersive 3D environments, sound design and UX/UI works, rebranding projects for packaging, the redesign of urban signage, merchandising proposals, art direction for editorial products, and experimentation with typography, documentary photography, and illustration. Fresh creations with a high level of execution, all bearing the personal hallmarks of each designer.

The students also exhibited examples of interdisciplinary projects carried out in collaboration with their peers from the IED Barcelona Fashion and Design schools, such as the lighting design installation designed for the Llum BCN 2024 festival, ‘Luminent’.

Held on 5 March, the exhibition was attended by professionals from the sector, as well as other members of the IED community, who were able to learn about the different phases of the design process of the works from the students first hand.
