The jury has selected only 15 projects out of the 104 submitted, forming the Delta Medals 2026 Selection, including X-plorer, Aaron Gonzalo’s Final Degree Project
The project, a wildlife and flora observation system developed by Aaron Gonzalo Gutiérrez, an alumnus from the 24/25 cohort of the Official Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design at IED Kunsthal Bilbao, has been selected for the 30th edition of the Delta Medals, awarded by ADI-FAD, one of the most prestigious recognitions in industrial design in Spain.
Aimed at product design students, these awards promoted by ADI-FAD serve as a key platform to showcase emerging talent and to foster connections between academia and the professional world.
The Delta Awards 2026 exhibition will open on July 22 at the Disseny Hub Barcelona (DHUB), where all selected projects, including X-plorer, will be on display. The opening will coincide with the awards ceremony, during which the winners will be announced.
