An interactive online journalling tool that enables users to create emotional creatures that evolve over time, giving rise to a unique and personal visual ecosystem
A project proposing an intuitive, visual and emotionally adaptive digital journalling method.
“Bok Bok” addresses the challenge of representing emotions through traditional language-based systems. To overcome this, the student proposes an interactive system that transforms user-generated text entered into a web platform into abstract units known as emotion energy blocks. Combined through a generative process, these units give rise to energy creatures capable of representing complex emotional states.
Designed for people who struggle to express their emotions through words, the project demonstrates that generative visual systems enable users to externalise and better understand their emotional experiences without the need for rational analysis. The result is an interactive online tool in which emotional creatures evolve over time, creating a unique and personalised visual ecosystem.
