This program is designed to train the future leaders of fashion, combining innovation, sustainability, and a global vision. With a curriculum aligned with industry demands, students will learn from fashion experts, brand strategists, and entrepreneurs. Through real projects and case studies, they will develop practical skills while exploring emerging trends such as artificial intelligence, the metaverse, NFTs, and e-commerce. Syllabus

MODULE 1: CULTURAL FOUNDATIONS OF FASHION. 

Fashion is deeply rooted in culture, identity, and society. This module explores how historical evolution, sociological shifts, and anthropological values have shaped the industry, connecting past influences to today’s fast-changing landscape. The impact of globalization, pop culture, and digital communities will also be analyzed to understand how they define fashion trends and consumer expectations.

MODULE 2: FASHION BUSINESS MODELS AND INDUSTRY STRUCTURE. 

The fashion industry is built on complex structures, global markets, and evolving business models. This module explores key players, fashion conglomerates, and operational strategies, connecting traditional frameworks to today’s innovations. The impact of technology, sustainability, and shifting consumer behaviors will also be analyzed to understand their role in shaping the industry’s future.

MODULE 3: PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & CREATIVE INNOVATION IN THE DIGITAL AGE. Begoña Noya

Fashion product development is no longer just about creativity—it is a tech-driven, consumer-focused, and sustainable process. This module explores the complete product lifecycle, from concept ideation to digital prototyping and production, integrating new materials, AI-assisted design, and on-demand manufacturing to align with the industry’s future needs.

MODULE 4: STRATEGIC FASHION BUYING & PURCHASING MANAGEMENT. 

This module explores the strategic role of the fashion buyer, covering buying processes, budgeting, and purchase cycles. You will examine how AI enhances predictive buying and inventory optimization for data-driven decisions. The course also focuses on negotiation strategies, pricing models, quality control, and supplier management, while integrating sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.

MODULE 5: SUPPLY CHAIN, PRODUCTION & LOGISTICS. 

This module highlights how efficient supply chain management directly impacts profitability within the fashion industry. You will explore sourcing strategies, ethical production methods, and supply chain resilience, alongside blockchain applications for traceability. Sustainability is embedded throughout, from circular production models to crisis management and risk mitigation strategies. 

MODULE 6: RETAIL, DISTRIBUTION & OMNICHANNEL STRATEGIES.

You will analyze AI-driven personalization strategies and leverage data analytics to enhance customer experience across retail platforms. The module explores the evolution of omnichannel retail, focusing on seamless customer journeys, phygital retail models, and emerging technologies like AR/VR. Case studies on clienteling, loyalty programs, and customer-centric strategies will round out the learning.

MODULE 7: FASHION MERCHANDISING & PRODUCT STRATEGY

This module explores how fashion merchandising shapes customer experiences and drives sales across in-store and online spaces. You’ll learn how brands plan assortments, optimize pricing, and use visual merchandising to boost engagement. From stock management to digital strategies, this module blends creativity and data-driven decisions to strengthen brand identity.

MODULE 8: FASHION FINANCE & STRATEGIC FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT. 

This module explores key financial strategies in fashion, focusing on budgeting, pricing, cash flow management, and investment planning. You’ll learn to analyze financial statements, forecast sales, control costs, and develop funding strategies. The course also covers risk management and data analytics to help maximize profitability and ensure long-term business success.

MODULE 9: FASHION BRANDING & MARKETING. 

This module explores how fashion brands build strong identities and create emotional connections with customers. You’ll learn how brands use viral content, influencer marketing, and marketing automation to boost awareness, guide customers through the funnel from consideration to purchase, and strengthen loyalty in a fast-changing digital world.

MODULE 10: FASHION COMMUNICATION, MEDIA & CONTENT CREATION. 

This module explores how fashion brands communicate their identity and connect with audiences through storytelling, media channels, and visual content. You’ll learn about editorial strategies, social media content creation, fashion journalism, and the use of emerging technologies like AR/VR and AI to craft engaging narratives across both traditional and digital platforms.

MODULE 11: MASTER’S FINAL PROJECT.

The Master’s Final Project is your chance to bring everything you’ve learned in the Master in Fashion Business to life. Over 120 hours, you’ll apply your knowledge, skills, and strategies to create a real-world project that showcases your passion, creativity, and business acumen. Whether you dream of launching your own brand, reimagining a business, or exploring the future of sustainability, technology, or branding, this is your moment. Guided by industry experts, you’ll combine creativity with data-driven decisions to develop a fully executable business plan or research project—preparing you for leadership roles in the dynamic world of fashion.
