Take your passion for fashion and put it into a booming profession, consolidate a fashion brand’s personality, values and conceptual universe.

Today, branding is more than just a logo, and a brand is much more than just a product. Today, a creative director has a fundamental role to play.

This Master's Degree in Creative Direction for Fashion gives you a panoramic overview of the tools required to build a brand, convey its story, values and creativity, in every aspect of communication (visual identity, verbal identity, content, look & feel) through a variety of channels (concept, communication campaigns, fashion shows, digital environments, events, and more).

Develop your professional profile, work with real companies on projects from the initial concept to final production, draw up a brief, participate in multidisciplinary teams under the guidance of a teaching team of professionals working in the sector.

Information to decide

A master´s degree at one of the best fashion schools, in which you’ll discover how to lead innovative projects and create emotional value that connects a fashion brand with its audience.

This Master's Degree in Creative Direction for Fashion is an English-taught program that gives you the know-how, the creative tools, strategy and leadership skills, and the chance to use them in projects developed in a professional context. It includes theory-based sessions, case studies, master classes and workshops, as well as visits to local studios and international brands to get a real taste of what it’s like to work in the fashion industry. Other visits and activities give you the extensive cultural background creative directors base their proposals on.

It’s an Executive program with two-afternoon classes per week, so you can take your master's degree while you continue to work.

You’ll finish the master with a Final Project Master's Thesis, the best way to consolidate and assimilate the knowledge and skills acquired.

This Master's Degree in Creative Direction for Fashion is for professionals working in the fashion industry, Graphic Design or Fashion Design graduates, and Product Designers who want to develop their skills or start a career as a creative director.

If you’re a professional working for a company, or looking to create your own brand, this IED Barcelona program is what you’re looking for.

If you want in-depth know-how as an up-and-coming Creative Director, if you’re working in marketing, communication and advertising and want to cut yourself a niche in the fashion world, this is for you.
