Would you like to discover how to tell stories via the art of drawing and painting?
IED Roma offers a hands-on course dedicated to 12-15 year olds, aimed at developing the basics of manual drawing and furthering painting techniques. During the workshop, you will gain an understanding of how to use different art materials and master colour theory, exploring light and shadow to create works with a strong visual impact.
During practical outdoor workshops, you will experience life drawing and gain a new awareness of shapes and perspectives.
The experience will conclude with the creation of your personal portfolio.
Information to decide
Sessions will be held on Saturday mornings and will include:
· Introduction to drawing by hand and painting;
· Study of colour theory, light, shadows and contrasts;
· Practical life drawing exercises;
· Creation of a personal portfolio.
The course is ideal for 12-15 year olds who want to explore the art of drawing and painting, developing technical skills and experimenting with new ways of expressing their creativity.
