On May 17th, the IED Alumni Chapter in NYC invites aspiring designers, creative thinkers, and change-makers to join us for an interactive workshop exploring how design can shape a better future.

Led by Gabriel Zangari, IED Milano Alumnus in Industrial Design, this free workshop offers a unique opportunity to experience our teaching philosophy while tackling real-world challenges through design thinking. You’ll discover how creativity can drive social impact and innovation through hands-on activities and collaborative discussions

Hosted at Salotto—a vibrant creative hub co-founded by IED Alumni and creatives from diverse backgrounds—this event offers a unique opportunity to connect with IED faculty, Alumni, and like-minded peers while exploring how design can drive real-world impact.

Through the workshop, you will:

  • Explore the role of design thinking in driving positive social change.

  • Identify urban challenges and brainstorm creative solutions to improve city life.
