IED Milano's collective fashion show: featuring 13 collections in dialogue with one another, offering a shared perspective on the cultural processes surrounding clothing.
IED presents The Process at Milan Fashion Week, a collective fashion show taking place on 25 September at 12:00 pm at MUBA – Museo dei Bambini Milano, inside the Rotonda di Via Besana.
The collective event goes beyond the traditional school graduate show: the 13 collections presented on the runway — the result of the work of 14 emerging fashion designers — enter into dialogue with one another in a shared exploration of the creative processes and cultural perspectives that surround the garment.
The audience is offered a glimpse into IED’s own creative process, as the Institute celebrates its sixtieth anniversary.
The monumental spaces and eighteenth-century architecture of the Rotonda della Besana create a connection between the memory of the place and the contemporaneity of fashion, bringing together experimentation and new perspectives on the present.
Creative direction is by Umberto Sannino, Head of the Fashion School at IED Milano.
Admission by invitation only.
