Stefan Sagmeister, one of today’s most renowned graphic designers, devotes three stops of his “Beautiful Numbers” conference tour to IED students

For the presentation of his latest book “Now is Better”, an exploration of how design can touch the hearts of people and improve their lives, Stefan Sagmeister will meet with IED students on three separate occasions at the IED schools in Madrid and Bilbao and at IED Firenze.

The three conferences hosted by these schools of the Group, where the graphic designer will talk about his latest work, are a fabulous opportunity to meet one of the greatest creative geniuses of recent decades, a talent who has designed for clients the likes of the Guggenheim Museum, The Rolling Stones and HBO.

Scheduled dates:

IED Firenze: 29 november – 7 pm

IED Madrid: 30 november – 7.30 pm

IED Kunsthal Bilbao: 1° december – 6.00 pm

During the conferences, Stefan Sagmeister will speak to IED students and the audience about how to view the present with optimism, starting with creativity, and discover that humanity has always evolved according to this frame of thinking.

Stefan Sagmeister founded Sagmeister Inc. in New York in 1993, and since then has worked for noteworthy international clients such as the Guggenheim Museum, The Rolling Stones and HBO. His works are contained in the collections of many museums throughout the world. Currently, he teaches in the postgraduate department of the School of Visual Arts in New York and is considered one of the most important and creative graphic designers of the 20th-21st century.
