The Art Director of the IED Group Giovanni Ottonello in Mexico - October 2024
This october, the IED team will travel to Mexico with Giovanni Ottonello, architect and art director of the IED Group, who will give a series of conferences with our allies in that country.
Thus, from the week of October 28 to 31, some of the most renowned and prominent institutions and universities with programs focused to the creative industries field, will be visited. Ottonello's conference circuit also includes Design Week México 2024, where IED collaborates through the Inédito Universitario award.
“NOTHING WILL EVER BE LIKE TOMORROW” is one of the conferences planned in the program of activities.
In such a rapidly changing world, is it possible to read the present? The great challenge today is to understand the contemporary and find new codes, new languages to communicate with generations increasingly distracted by technology. The intervention aims to stimulate observation and the ability to look at things from other points of view in order to mix skills, cultures and imaginations.
Giovanni Ottonello, was awarded his degree in Architecture at Genova and after various experiences in the field of museum and scenography-related exhibits, he approached the world of fashion through the study of fabric in its variety of expressions and designs.
