An exclusive experience focused on understanding high jewelry production processes
For the second year in a row, students from the three-year program in Jewelry and Accessories Design at IED Torino visited the Cartier factory, one of the most prestigious brands in high jewelry. The visit offered a close look at high jewelry production processes, showing how a design idea takes shape through highly specialized skills, techniques, and knowledge.
During the visit, design was the guiding thread of a journey that helped students understand the constant dialogue between creative design, artisanal tradition, and production precision. It was an exclusive opportunity to explore the role of the project, detail, and materials in the creation of a piece of jewelry, from the initial concept to the final result.
The meeting is part of an ongoing dialogue with a prestigious brand like Cartier and confirms the strength of the collaboration with IED Torino. A relationship that continues over time, giving students the chance to engage with a model of excellence in the field of jewelry design.
