The ADG Laus Awards 2026 have recognised the creative talent of IED students with 26 nominations across IED Barcelona, IED Madrid and IED Kunsthal Bilbao. The shortlisted projects span graphic design, audiovisual, digital media, advertising and final degree project categories, reinforcing IED’s presence in one of Spain’s leading creative industry awards.

IED once again stands out at the ADG Laus Awards 2026 with 26 nominations for projects developed by students from IED Barcelona, IED Madrid and IED Kunsthal Bilbao. Organised by ADG-FAD, the Laus Awards annually recognise excellence in graphic design, visual communication and contemporary creativity. 

The winning projects will be announced on June 11 during the Nit dels ADG Laus ceremony in Barcelona. Until then, IED celebrates the talent, creativity and dedication behind each selected proposal. 

These are all the nominated projects: 

Free Work – Graphic Design 

IED Madrid 

  • Estira un tirador – Ana Rôlo, Mirian Galán, María Elena Cadenas, Sungjin Park and Ignacio Carbajosa. 

A graphic research and installation project that reinterprets an everyday object —the handle— through observation, formal exploration and poetic imagination. 

  • SOO – Alberto Herrera, Tomás Morena, Gonzalo Muñoz. 

A branding and art direction proposal that questions the immediacy of contemporary consumption through an identity built around resistance and durability. 

  • Neuº – Alejandro Domínguez, Mirian Galán and Sofía Maya Ramos. 

A branding and fashion project proposing new relationships between body, identity and garments through a geometric and adaptable visual system. 

  • ABONO 03: Hogar – Editorial team: Alex Boutin, Claudia Campo, Bastian García, María Elena Cadenas, Ignacio Carbajosa, Gonzalo Salas, Celia Muñoz, Pilar Jauregi, Daniela Tipse and Julia Jiménez. 

A collective editorial research project on the concept of home as an emotional, symbolic and social space, materialised through an experimental publication and photographic exhibition. 

  • Ñaño – Gonzalo Muñoz. 

A modular typeface inspired by pre-Hispanic geometric patterns that connects cultural heritage with contemporary typographic design. 

  • Tejiendo Comunidad – María Elena Cadenas, Ignacio Carbajosa and Sungjin Park. In collaboration with Ana Carolina Rôlo, Mirian Galán, Sergio Bárcena, Romina Arosemena, Marina Bretón, Luna Canadell, Paula Espinosa, Paloma Iglesias, Sofía Marín, Soraya Massaad, Lucia Isabela Oppe, Sofía del Mar and Nina Rojkind. 

A visual identity for Carabanchel Distrito Cultural inspired by cross-stitch and Madrid’s popular traditions, designed to strengthen the neighbourhood’s community fabric. 

IED Barcelona 

  • Memor – Arianna Barahona. 

A card game inspired by grandparents, who taught us to value time and the importance of remembering. 

Visual identity for a family house reinvented as a boutique hotel and cultural space rooted in Georgian heritage and shaped by displacement and loss during the Soviet era (1922–1992). 

  • Bridge – Irina Kavtaradze, Kyla Henry-Suarez and Ece Peksari. 

A magazine that merges the old with the new, creating a modern and inclusive publication that builds bridges between generations. 

  • Muerte – Larissa Sophie Steinhauser. 

A visual identity in which taxidermy becomes a space for reflection rather than pursuit. 

Free Work – Audiovisual 

IED Madrid 

An experimental audiovisual piece exploring memory and perception through visual landscapes constructed from archives, rhythm, texture and colour. 

Free Work – Digital 

IED Madrid 

A visual research project transforming contemporary digital iconography into an interactive graphic system to reflect on visual saturation and hypervisual culture. 

Free Work – Advertising 

IED Barcelona 

Visual identity for “Palimpsest”, an event that simultaneously gathers people through art in cities around the world during a single weekend. 

Aporta – Free Work 

IED Bilbao 

  • (POST)ESTACIONALIDAD – Lucías Andrades, Lucía Martinez, Janset Ayyildiz, Ibaya Legorburu, Amaia Beldarrain, Jon Unzueta and June García. 

A project exploring how the climate crisis is transforming our relationship with seasons, landscapes and everyday habits. It proposes new scenarios where design, production and consumption adapt to a constantly changing environment. 

IED Barcelona 

  • Memor – Arianna Barahona. 

A card game inspired by grandparents, who taught us to value time and the importance of remembering. 

  • Ettix – Liney Petra Hugadottir and Arianna Barahona. 

Brand identity for an organisation supporting migrants at risk of social exclusion. 

Final Degree Project – Graphic Design 

IED Bilbao 

Through photography, archives and editorial design, the project creates a visual universe where ancestral and contemporary elements engage in dialogue to reflect on identity, territory and ecology. 

  • AXYZ – Jon Blanco. 

Through immersive visual storytelling and interdependent pieces, the project explores physical interaction in contrast to digital hyperconnectivity. 

Through an essay and a collaborative web platform, the project explores biomaterials and new ways of understanding material processes from a more conscious and sustainable perspective. 

IED Barcelona 

A data-driven sensory installation exploring the relationship between human wellbeing and environmental health. 

An interactive editorial project focused on self-discovery through narrative design. 

Final Degree Project – Advertising 

IED Barcelona 

  • Where do they go – Anastasia Kochetkova. 

An animated short film that raises awareness about repairing objects as an alternative to today’s throwaway consumer culture.

Final Degree Project – Digital 

IED Barcelona 

An immersive installation that seeks to encourage critical thinking about social media consumption by counteracting the negative effects of doom-scrolling. 

A platform that allows users to create digital bookshelves as active structures of meaning. 

A speculative cartography of the unconscious. 

Aporta – Final Degree Project 

IED Bilbao 

Through an essay and a collaborative web platform, the project explores biomaterials and new ways of understanding material processes from a more conscious and sustainable perspective.
