IED joins the jury board of Moldovan Brands Runway 2024

Giovanni Ottonello, IED Art Director, will join the jury board of MBR - Moldovan Brands Runway 2024: Whispers of the deep. The selection process for this edition is meticulously curated by a professional jury committee, ensuring the participation of designers committed to the event's vision and values.
MBR fashion event will take place featuring 15 designers from Moldova, as well as from Ukraine, Romania, and Georgia who will be presenting their spring-summer collections in an atmosphere inspired by the allure of the oceans.
Three winners will be granted a free access to IED Smart Creativity self-paced online learning platform until June 2024
Participants will experience a remarkable visual and auditory journey thanks to the collaboration with visual artist – Maotik. The event's concept and design will include visual elements and sounds inspired by the ocean to showcase the latest fashion creations. The schedule for this upcoming spring edition promises to be spectacular, unveiling not only the premiere of the spring-summer collections but also providing attendees with the opportunity to admire art exhibitions themed around the oceans and indulge in on-site shopping. Moreover, the event will feature short films exploring the oceanic world and addressing the impact of diminishing water resources on communities and the fashion industry.
In 2022, we joined a debate about Metaverse: Fashion Phenomenon with a lecture hosted by Giovanni Ottonello at Moldova in Fashion Conference. This season, Moldovan Brands Runway aspires to be a clarion no call to the world, championing the majesty of the oceans through sustainable fashion that beckons an era of environmental awakening. It's a stage where each stitch and silhouette echoes the urgent plea for ocean conservation, setting the rhythm for an industry-wide tide of change.
