Yellowdot by IED Alumni at Stockholm Furniture Fair

As an international platform for up-and-coming young designers at Stockholm Furniture Fair, Greenhouse acts as a stepping stone for the design stars of tomorrow. Among the 32 designers and 30 design schools from 18 different countries selected by the jury, Yellowdot will be presenting a collection of their latest works. The eclectic collection of furniture, lighting, and objects created from food waste eggshells, handwoven silk fabric, colorful marble, and digital fabrication are all presented together for the first time, all connected by the overarching theme of optimism and playfulness.
Yellowdot is a design studio & creative consultancy led by Bodin Hon & Dilara Kan, working with products, lighting, furniture & spaces. Since meeting at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, they have combined their contrasting backgrounds to work coherently across disciplines. From their uniquely diverse backgrounds, each of the five projects presented explores the limits of culture, materials, and production techniques as they collaborate with artisans and makers across Europe to Asia.
Yellowdot will be exhibiting their works at the Stockholmsmässan, Greenhouse Booth C04:47 from 7th to 11th February 2023. Come visit us and meet the designers!
