IED Barcelona will begin the 2023-24 academic year on Friday 15 September at 4.30 pm with a welcome event for the first-year students of the Bachelor’s Degrees in Design, the BA (Hons) Degrees, the Foundation in Global Design and IED Diplomas.
During the event, in addition to meeting the management team, deputy management and directors of the centre's different schools, students will be able to approach the world of design from the perspective of an IED alumnus. Uri Casademont, founder and Managing Director of Future Days, will be in charge of giving a speech that will focus on the application of design in the present and in the future from close perspectives of creativity, design, systemic and innovation.
Later, at 6.00 pm, the rest of the undergraduate students from all years, teachers and staff will join the Welcome Event to toast together.
In addition, the Welcome Week, a week of workshops and activities aimed at undergraduate students in an environment of co-creation as a community, will take place from 16 to 20 September.
