IED is pleased to invite young creative students and professionals from Romania to the design workshop “Tangible-in-Tangible"
The workshop will be held by Attila Veress, successful designer born in Transylvania, raised in the United Arab Emirates and graduated in Product Design - IED Milano. After collaborating with companies like 3M and BMW, in 2015 he set up his own studio; he currently works as a design consultant for a number of international brands, dividing his time between classical design and strategic design projects.
During the workshop we will look at the application of design on different scales and in different fields, and tell stories of what it means to study design and to become a designer, including a brief look into the daily life of the creative director of a company specialized in marble. The talk will delve into the work of developing a new catalog, the choice of materials and the work of styling and photography, which all goes into putting the company’s vision together.
The event is organized in collaboration with PIATRAONLINE, one of Europe’s leading natural stone suppliers. Their mission is to offer every beauty lover or design enthusiast an opportunity of transforming visions into reality, inspiring extraordinary projects. All this by selecting materials with the highest quality standards and promoting diversity of visions.
Registration is free but places are limited: in order to secure your spot, please fill in this form hereunder. More details will follow upon registration.
