Service Design, Sustainability, Tourism, the Web and new technology.
A truly ancient city that has played a leading role in the history of the Mediterranean, Cagliari is now one of the areas that host the world’s greatest concentrations of Information Technology companies.
IED Cagliari focuses its training curricula on developing service design oriented towards such new sectors as sustainability applied to renewable energy sources, the quality of life in large contemporary cities, and new technologies applied to the media and to training.
More generally, training here focuses on the new approach to the concept of wellness that takes in everything from the individual to the city and its surroundings.
These thematic areas are main threads for developing new clusters of training courses that will enable us to generate structured projects with partners in the public and private sectors.
IED fosters talent with 38 scholarships, for a total amount of € 255.000, covering the 50% of the tuition fees for Master Courses in Design, Fashion, Visual Arts and Communication held in Milan, Barcelona, Florence, Madrid, Rome, Turin and Venice.
The course of Interaction Design has the goal of forming an artist and a professional able to use all the means and languages available in the multimedia technology applications for different situations in the field of contemporary visual communication.
