A graphic design by IED Barcelona features on the 2026 Travessa Matagalls-Montserrat T-shirt

For the third consecutive year, IED Barcelona has once again collaborated with the Club Excursionista de Gràcia (CEG) on the design of the official T-shirt for the “Travessa Matagalls-Montserrat”. The creative proposal by third-year Graphic Design student Hannah Bokelman was selected to feature on the T-shirt worn by the event’s 3,000 participants during the non-competitive endurance walk held on 19 and 20 September.
Created under the guidance of lecturer Alan Ramírez, Bokelman’s design features elements characteristic of the “travessa”, including the silhouettes of the peaks along the route. Her creation also draws on values shared by IED and the CEG, such as sustainability and care for the environment.
