IED Barcelona’s talent and creativity have once again been selected to be part of Brut! Visual Arts alumni Irina Kavtaradze and Kyla Henry took part in the event where leading design schools showcase their outstanding final degree projects, held at Disseny Hub Barcelona on 1 and 2 October.
Irina Kavtaradze, a Graphic Design graduate specialising in Advertising, shared with an audience of creative arts industry professionals the story behind her thesis, “Querencia”, a generative visual system based on home, memory and transgenerational trauma that fosters self-awareness, intergenerational dialogue and a greater sense of belonging. In addition, her project was one of three proposals selected to be featured at Blanc! 2026 on October 23 and 24.
Meanwhile, Kyla Henry, who completed her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design this June, took the audience through the creative process behind her final project, “Resurface”, a collection of playful activities designed to personalise learning methods by integrating design principles and celebrating the uniqueness of each mind.
Congratulations!
