Two IED projects take the stage at High Potentials in Barcelona
This year once again, two IED students were selected to take part in ADCE’s exclusive High Potentials program.
Out of a record-breaking nearly 170 applications, Veronica De Angelis and Melissa Santoni, students in the Communication Design course at IED Rome, were chosen among the 30 best young European talents invited to present their ideas on stage.
Now in its ninth edition, the event took place in Barcelona on May 6–7: two intense days entirely dedicated to building new connections and finding inspiration.
The initiative aims to give emerging talents the opportunity to meet, opening the door to new and concrete possibilities for recruitment and professional collaboration.
The students’ projects, Acido and No Limits Live, offer innovative interpretations of everyday reflections. Acido explores a market obsessed with “slow living” and meditative rituals, presenting itself as a declaration of war against boredom by selling fuel for the productive elite. The project is built around a “Cynical Industrial” aesthetic, using typography as a weapon and color as a stimulant. No Limits Live imagines a Måneskin reunion through four simultaneous concerts in different cities, connected in real time via the Verizon network using live holograms. The concept spectacularly demonstrates the power and reliability of Verizon’s network, capable of “making the impossible possible.”
Six leading agencies and studios took part in the event, sharing their expertise and industry vision with participants. Their presence proved invaluable in supporting the young creatives: by offering insightful feedback and sharing their professional approach, they helped participants take an important step toward entering the professional world.
