After graduating from the Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design at IED Roma in 2015, Priscilla Fois has built a professional journey that has taken her from motion graphics to illustration, eventually leading her to dedicate herself entirely to artistic research and street art.

Today, her work reaches an important new milestone: she has been selected to take part in Urban Break Korea, one of the leading international festivals dedicated to contemporary urban art, taking place from 30 July to 2 August 2026. Every year, the event transforms Seoul into a meeting point for artists from around the world, bringing together street art, graffiti, pop art, music, fashion and new technologies.
In this interview, Priscilla shares what it means to participate in an event of this scale, reflects on the journey that has brought her to South Korea, and discusses how her artistic practice continues to evolve through new international projects.
Priscilla, can you tell us what Urban Break is?
Urban Break Korea is one of the largest and most influential urban and street art festivals in Asia, held annually in Seoul, South Korea. Created with the ambition of "creating no more boring art," the festival is an innovative platform that brings together visual arts, graffiti, pop art, music, fashion, street dance and technology.
What does being selected involve?
Being selected means having my own exhibition booth where I can showcase my work. I will be at the fair for three days, during which I'll have the opportunity to create live paintings and interact directly with visitors. This year, participants have been specifically encouraged to engage with the public, so being able to connect with people from a culture different from my own is an exciting challenge and a great opportunity to introduce my work in a more immediate and personal way.
Can you tell us about the projects you're currently working on?
At the moment, I'm pursuing several projects alongside my main artistic practice. I collaborate with a few galleries in Rome and I'm currently involved in two exhibitions. At the same time, I'm developing public art projects with cultural associations, particularly through the creation of murals. I'm also preparing for an important project that will take place in India this September, which will be another valuable opportunity for growth and exchange, although it's still too early to reveal all the details.
How has your journey evolved since graduating from IED?
After IED, my career has been a continuous evolution from technical practice towards fine art. I built a solid career as a motion designer, first working in television and later in Australia, an experience that taught me discipline and strengthened my professional approach. At the same time, illustration never left me, and I always tried to integrate it into my video work. When I returned to Italy, I felt the need to combine those skills with my passion for street art. That eventually led me to make the decisive step: leaving behind the more technical side of my career to devote myself entirely to my artistic practice, once I had developed a personal style that truly reflected who I am.
From graphic design to motion design and, ultimately, urban art, Priscilla Fois' journey demonstrates how a background in visual communication can evolve into ever-changing forms of creative expression, opening the door to international and multidisciplinary opportunities.
