“My passion for jewelry started at a very young age, as I grew up in a family where both my father and grandfather worked as jewelry and watch dealers”.

At the age of 18 Daniela Gutierrez already created a silver jewelry brand called and opened a shop in Monterrey, Mexico. But it was two years later, when decided to move to Madrid and study Fashion & Accessories Design at IED Madrid.

She started her career at ELLE Spain Magazine and after 8 years she became the Fashion Director at Cosmopolitan Spain. Currently she is the Fashion and Beauty Director of Neo2 Magazine and some of her previous works include publications at Elle Kids, Elle Gourmet, Ego, Fotogramas, Hola Fashion, In Style and Mirror Mirror Magazine, amongst others.

At 2016 she decided to continue her adventure in the world of jewelry and founded Barokah Jewels.

“Creativity is part of both my personal and professional life, as a fashion director I have to keep continuously inspired in order to bring new ideas to the magazine, as well as to my jewelry brand. I design my own pieces and I'm always looking for new references”, explains.
