Official UK university education delivered in Madrid, with international recognition and the option of a professional placement year.

IED Madrid is expanding its international education offering for the 2026/2027 academic year with the introduction of two University of Westminster* Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degrees: BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing and Promotion and BA (Hons) Creative Media Arts.

These are official UK university degrees delivered in line with Westminster’s curriculum, academic structure and assessment criteria.

Lasting three years (360 UK credits) and taught entirely in English, the programmes offer the option of a Placement Year between the second and third year, strengthening real-world experience, portfolio development and graduate employability.

Two BA (Hons) degrees in key areas of the creative industries

The BA (Hons) Creative Media Arts focuses on audiovisual creation, digital media and emerging technologies. The programme prepares students to work across video, photography, interactivity, sound, extended reality (XR) and digital storytelling, while developing a strong creative portfolio in an international context.

The BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing and Promotion combines marketing, branding and visual creativity applied to fashion. It covers content creation, campaigns, art direction, digital media, trend analysis and public relations, preparing students to position brands within a global, digitally driven marketplace.

Both programmes are aimed at students seeking an internationally oriented university education at a leading design institution, based in a city with a strong creative and professional ecosystem.

*Currently undergoing formal validation by the University of Westminster. Details will be confirmed once this process has been completed and approved.
