As part of EXPOSED Torino Foto Festival, IED introduces the first chapter of the three-year project Ti vorrei dire, created in collaboration with Gallerie d’Italia - Intesa Sanpaolo.

Who are the young adults of today? What are the contexts in which they live, who are the people surrounding them? What are their anxieties, fears, but also desires that propel them towards the future?

Twenty-one young authors from IED's Photography courses in Torino, Milano, and Roma have attempted to answer these questions, giving life to a visual narrative that delves into the dreams, parallel lives, and daily choices of their peers. An intimate and collective investigation that captures the complexity of being young, crafting a nuanced and authentic portrait of a generation through imagery.

The event at Gallerie d’Italia – Torino features a dynamic and interactive portfolio reading, fostering dialogue between the authors, the audience, and industry professionals who engage with the students' work and enrich the discourse.

Central to the experience is a table hosting images housed in a box designed by students of Visual Communication Design at IED Firenze, symbolizing a space for collective, informal, and empathetic reflection.

The Dreamers is the first chapter of Ti Vorrei Dire, a three-year project in collaboration with Gallerie d’Italia – Intesa Sanpaolo, exploring the imagery of the new generations.
