The event organised during Milan Design Week offered free accommodation to students from all over the world. A total of 300 campers of 30 different nationalities were present during the first edition in April 2024

The Glitch Camp, the first urban campsite created during Milan Design Week 2024, was nominated for the BEA - Best Event Awards, the Italian festival of events and live communication, attended by the most prestigious communication agencies, including Piano B, IED's partner in the organisation and production of the event.
The awards event took place on Wednesday 27 November and won first prize in two categories; Installation or event during Design Week and Proprietary Format category, aimed at events characterised by an original format owned by the organiser.
In addition, the competition jury awarded Glitch Camp a special mention for Best Creativity.
The project was also selected out of more than 200 competing projects as one of the 5 finalists for the Green Economy Award 2024 in the Social Sustainability category (Large Companies), which took place in September.
In 2025, The Glitch Camp will be back at the Milan Design Week, which will take place from 7 to 13 April. Stay tuned for more information!
