A new concept store for Bershka based on iridescence to celebrate diversity and difference

The project uses iridescence — an optical phenomenon by which on certain surfaces, the tone of light varies according to the angle of observation — as a metaphor for diversity and the celebration of difference.

Using this idea as a starting point, the student proposes a new concept store for Bershka, where the use of materials with these capabilities guides users through the shopping experience. Combining them with other, more neutral, materials such as concrete and aluminium, the design allows the garments to stand out, and draws attention to specific points within the establishment.

The proposal includes different services: a click & collect area, a custom lab where clothes can be personalised, and a self-service payment zone.
