What is the “Do It Yourself” culture? In the digital era, can you express your creativity with a handmade product? Come explore this by joining IED’s workshop in Bucharest.

Anyone interested in creative disciplines knows how important it is to have a strong, personal portfolio. Taking move from this simple yet important awareness, the workshop will focus on how a portfolio, sketchbook, or any kind of creative work can be conceived from scratch and created manually.

During this one-day, hands-on masterclass, you will:

  • Learn about the concept of "Do It Yourself" in the publishing field

  • Understand how to give life to a simple self-produced project in the digital era, mixing papers of various weights and sizes, up to the creation of graphic content, thought and designed during the day

  • Explore how you can apply the workshop takeaways to the creative discipline of your interest: fashion, design, visual communication, etc.

  • Foster collaboration through teamwork and group activities

  • Gain insights into IED's courses, the admission process and scholarship opportunities

The workshop will be led by Sebastiano Paccini, IED Ambassador and founder of Libri Finti Clandestini (Fake Clandestine Books). Founded in Rome in 2012 and later based in Milan, LFC is a cosmopolitan art collective that focuses on artist books. By using only found paper, recycling materials from various sources, their eco-friendly process emphasizes recycling and minimal environmental impact.

The workshop will be conducted in English and will run from 11.00 am to approximately 5.00 pm. Refreshments will be provided!

Parents are welcome to join – a dedicated info session for parents will be organized after the lunch break.

Registration is mandatory by filling in THIS FORM

Entrance is free until the full capacity is reached.
