Notes on Plural Intelligences will be showcased at Latin America's leading design event as part of Diseño Contenido on 10 and 11 October.
IED will take part for the first time in Diseño Contenido during Mexico Design Week, an ephemeral installation that transforms Julio Verne Street in Lincoln Park into a platform for ideas, projects, products and creative perspectives. The event will take place on 10 and 11 October in Mexico City.
This unique experience brings design closer to the general public and will feature Edicola IED, a dedicated kiosk presenting the issues of Notes on Plural Intelligences, the publication created as part of IED’s 60th anniversary celebrations. Visitors will be able to explore reflections on creativity, learning, and the role design can play today in embracing the many forms of intelligence that surround us.
Also on display will be Bok Bok, a project by IED Barcelona student Haeun Jung. This interactive proposal invites visitors to reflect on the many emotions they experience every day through an online journalling system that allows users to create emotional creatures based on their mood via the bokbok.me platform.
The project received the Best Thesis Award Mention in Graphic Design, Pathway in Motion Graphics and Video 2026 at the school's most recent graduation ceremony.
