What if your next favourite brand started with an idea you already have? In Istanbul, IED invites aspiring creatives to explore how design can transform passions, interests and intuitions into distinctive brand identities.
On 17 October 2026, IED will present Your Ideas. Your Design Identity, a hands-on workshop hosted at KMK Sanat in Istanbul. Through a mix of Design Thinking, interactive activities and practical exercises, participants will discover how to shape an idea into a brand concept with a clear identity, purpose and direction.
Working individually or in small teams, participants will choose a field they are passionate about, from fashion and beauty to product design, technology or communication, and develop a concept from scratch. Starting from people, interests and real needs, they will define the values, personality and visual direction of their brand, learning how design can turn an abstract idea into something tangible, meaningful and ready to connect with others.
The workshop will be led by Ginevra Franchi, Co-Founder of Cono Studio Milano and lecturer in Design Thinking and Startup Innovation at IED Milan. With a background spanning graphic design, product design and innovation strategy, she works across design, communication and creative consultancy, helping brands and organisations transform ideas into impactful experiences.
The afternoon will conclude with the presentation of participants' concepts and an open Q&A session with the IED team. Participants are also invited to bring their portfolios and stay for an individual review session, receiving personalised feedback on their creative work.
