IED, in partnership with Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Mumbai, is hosting a competition for Indian creatives passionate about Italian cinema.

Calling all aspiring filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts in India!

Cinema has always been a powerful convergence of various creative disciplines, and IED, in collaboration with Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Mumbai, is excited to announce a competition for Indian students who share a deep passion for Italian cinema and culture. This is your chance to showcase your love for Italy’s rich film heritage and win a prestigious scholarship.

We invite participants to create a video in which they express their personal interpretation of an Italian film. Whether it’s the soundtrack, the dialogue, the storyline, or the brilliance of an actor’s performance that captivates you, we want you to communicate those emotions, reflections, and inspirations through a universal cinematic language.

Your video will be a window into how you view Italian cinema—its influence, its beauty, and its storytelling power. This is an opportunity to not only celebrate the art of filmmaking but to demonstrate your ability to translate those emotions into a creative format.

To participate, carefully review the competition regulations and complete the application form.
The form will request your personal details, and you’ll also have the opportunity to stay connected with IED if you choose.
Once you submit the form, you will receive an automatic reply with further instructions on how to complete your application.

We can't wait to see your unique vision come to life!
